    • students can add text as well as clip art

Math:

    • online practice game to teach the concepts of place value, both with and without decimals

      • a list of math activities for group games
      • includes PDF of rules and printable materials for each game!




Science:

    • website with several different live web cams
    • students can watch polar bear migration, brown bear and salmon cams, many types of birds, and many others
  • Virtual Owl Pellet
    • exactly what the name implies: students can dissect owl pellets without the mess and smell
    • may work with kids that don't want to touch it, or as an additional lesson in the unit


Social Studies:
